1. BeWILDerfest 2026

  • Date: 18th July – 1st September 2026

  • Location: BeWILDerwood Norfolk, Hoveton, NR12 8JW

  • Description: Join the woodland creatures for a massive summer celebration. This award-winning outdoor adventure park goes all out with special storytelling sessions, magical forest exploration, massive zip wires, and imaginative outdoor crafts deep in the woods.

2. Living History Performances at Blickling Estate

  • Date: Wednesdays and selected Saturdays throughout July & August 2026

  • Location: Blickling Estate, Aylsham, NR11 6NF

  • Description: Join the Living History Team under the stretch tent on the Parade gardens for a series of fun, interactive performances highlighting life at the estate during different eras. Performances take place at 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm and are a hit with history-loving kids!

3. The Six Weeks of Summer at Chantry Place

  • Date: 25th July – 6th September 2026

  • Location: Chantry Place, Norwich, NR1 3SH

  • Description: Head into the city centre for a summer of free family activities. Chantry Place is hosting "spin to win" games, "stop the clock" interactive challenges, and a giant interactive RunNorwich race map for kids to explore on the plaza.

4. Family Imagination Days at Dragon Hall

  • Date: 20th July – 17th August 2026 (Selected Mondays & Tuesdays)

  • Location: National Centre for Writing at Dragon Hall, Norwich, NR1 1QE

  • Description: Step into 600 years of history with free drop-in activity days! Families can explore the spectacular medieval hall, play giant games, read in the book nook, and get involved with creative play and storytelling led by local artists.

5. Nature Workshop & Summer Safaris at Holkham Hall

  • Date: 17th and 27th August (Nature Workshops) / Ongoing August (Safaris)

  • Location: Holkham Hall, Wells-next-the-Sea, NR23 1AB

  • Description: Hop aboard the tractor-trailer for a family-friendly whistle-stop "Deer and Wildlife Safari" around Holkham park. Older children will also love the special Willow Weaving Workshop on July 18th, where they can learn to craft their very own woodland hares.

6. Bluey Visits! at Mid Norfolk Railway.

·        Date: 1st – 2nd August 2026

  • Location: Mid-Norfolk Railway, Dereham Station, NR19 1DF

  • Description: Come and meet Bluey on Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd at intervals throughout the day at Mid Norfolk Railway! Begin your journey at East Dereham Station, where you will enjoy a vintage steam train journey through the Norfolk countryside. Your train will proceed to Thuxton and then return. Every child will receive a complimentary storybook, activity sheet, crayon, biscuit and juice to enjoy during the journey. When you return to the station, Bluey will be waiting to meet families, wave hello and pose for photos, so don’t forget your camera!

7. Dinos in the Dark at ROARR!

  • Date: 29th August 2026 (6:00 PM – 10:00 PM)

  • Location: ROARR! Dinosaur Adventure, Lenwade, NR9 5JE

  • Description: Experience the park completely transformed into a thrilling night-time adventure where kids go FREE! Enjoy the cooler evening air, glowing animatronic dinosaurs, selected rides open late, and brilliant end-of-summer family entertainment.

8. Summer Explorer Weeks at SEA LIFE

  • Date: Ongoing throughout July & August 2026

  • Location: SEA LIFE Centre, Great Yarmouth, NR30 3AH

  • Description: Escape the midday sun and dive into the underwater world. Kids can get up close to sharks, rays, and rescued sea turtles, while taking part in interactive rock pool sessions and summer conservation trails designed specifically for young explorers.
